Vieww is based in Aachen and a subsidiary of Sportec Solutions, developing FIFA-certified solutions including the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), Goal Line Technology (GLT), and Virtual Offside Line (VOL).
By combining the strength of both companies, we became one of the most successful suppliers of officiating technologies contributing to the integrity and accuracy of sport.
Video Assistant Referee
We offer a FIFA certified VAR system designed specifically for the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of professional football. Our technology combines powerful GPU processing with highly efficient software to deliver fast, accurate results when they matter most.
Live SDI signals are converted into individual high-quality frames, preserving every detail for precise analysis. Our solution seamlessly integrates into existing stadium and broadcast setups.
Virtual Offside Line (VOL)
The FIFA certified Virtual Offside Line module allows operators to place 2D or 3D offside
lines directly onto live broadcast footage.
With precise calibration and real-time pitch
detection, the system accounts for lens distortion and field geometry to produce reliable and visually accurate offside lines—supporting fast and confident VAR decisions.
VOL Assist
VOL Assist improves the offside review process with intelligent line suggestions based on player detection and triangulation from multiple broadcast cameras.
The operator retains full control while benefiting from AI-assisted guidance, making offside decisions faster, easier, and more consistent across all games.
Video Hub / Cloud
The Video Hub is the video partner to our Data Hub. The Video Hub allows leagues to easily provide compressed video for any possible use-case. This includes clips for social media, low-latency live streams for match analysts, or remote viewing of select camera angles.
In the Bundesliga, the Video Hub is used
to allow analysts to access footage live during a match and provide post-match clip creation.
Semi Automated Offside Technology
The SAOT system uses the advanced player tracking technology to automatically detect offside situations. It is fully integrated into the VAR System to guarantee a seamless workflow for the VAR.
It generates a reconstruction of the play for the audience to clarify the decision and show the offside line and the related players in 3D space.
