Sportec Solutions AG and Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation Jiangsu Sports and Leisure Channel sign Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement to advance VAR technology in Chinese Football Leagues
Sportec Solutions AG, a world-leading provider of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology and football refereeing solutions, and Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation Jiangsu Sports and Leisure Channel (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangsu Sports and Leisure Channel") today announced the official signing of a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement. The two parties will jointly advance the application and enhancement of professional football refereeing technology and broadcasting standards in China.
This cooperation deeply integrates Sportec Solutions' globally leading refereeing technology with Jiangsu Sports and Leisure Channel's robust sports event resources and media influence. The scope of cooperation covers all professional and amateur football leagues in China.
Core Areas of Cooperation
- Talent Training and Pipeline Development: Sportec Solutions will organize dedicated professional training programs for Replay Operators (ROs). The two parties will jointly establish and maintain a high-caliber RO talent pool in China, ensuring standardized and professional service delivery to football leagues at all levels.
- Technology Integration and Equipment Provision: Sportec Solutions will supply VAR/RO simulation equipment to Jiangsu Sports and Leisure Channel for daily training, testing, and demonstration purposes, and will integrate Sportec Solutions' refereeing technology with Jiangsu Sports and Leisure Channel's broadcasting infrastructure to comprehensively enhance the quality of domestic football match broadcasting and production.
- Joint Bidding Authorization: Sportec Solutions formally authorizes Jiangsu Sports and Leisure Channel to represent Sportec Solutions in participating in bidding and tender processes for China's domestic professional football leagues and related sports technology projects, fully leveraging Jiangsu Sports and Leisure Channel's institutional influence and resource integration capabilities.
